            My name is Brad Varney and I have been hunting and shooting all my life. I’m 65 years of age. I’ve won many, many championships and bagged out on hunt after hunt after hunt. I pride myself on being a wing shooter first and foremost and have spent a LIFETIME in the field hunting game birds. It’s my first love.             I have over 40 years of instructing experience and I’ve taught hundreds of shooters to shoot better. My style is easy-going and patient. I will walk you through everything you need to do to shoot BETTER. I take credit for all the misses and you take credit for all the hits. When you miss, I’ll tell you what you did wrong. When you hit the target, I’ll tell you what you did right. I’ll be at your side as you shoot, providing instant feedback. One-on-one instruction is what I do best.

            I’ll start with a test you cannot fail. A test that helps me determine how you see. An eye test. It’s probably the most important service I can offer you. A test that too many shooters never take. Quite often, this simple test can help me to improve your shooting almost immediately.

            Did you know that if you try to aim a shotgun as you would a rifle, you are doomed to failure? I can show you how to instinctively POINT a shotgun and make hit after hit. I will walk you through every station on the skeet course, every station on the sporting clay course,  and show you how to shoot every one. You will learn how to handle a shotgun, how to focus on the target, and how to powder a clay bird that is streaking across the sky.

            If you are a bird hunter, I will share with you the secrets of successful wing shooting that I have learned through years of experience. How to shoot safely, accurately, naturally, and quickly.

     I’ve taught veteran shooters and rank beginners. Men and women, girls and boys. Anybody and everybody! I get a lot of pleasure from seeing someone improve. It’s what I do. I think I’m pretty good at it.
